If you plan to attend the Friday evening event, please register soon.  There is space still available, but it is filling up quickly.  Please note that there is no walk-in registration for Friday night, so you must register in advance to attend.  In addition to all of the traditional festivities we have planned for Friday night we have some surprise guests performing who you will not want to miss.

June 10th is the last date to register to guarantee your 75th Reunion T-shirt.  You will not want to miss out on getting one of these specially designed Reunion keepsakes.

If your name is not on our ever-growing list of attendees, then sign up now to be a part of this historic Camp Tevya event.  There are so many activities and programs that we have planned for you to enjoy, and you will have a unique opportunity to spend time with your Tevya friends, bunkmates, counselors, and former campers.  Don’t forget to sign up for Saturday evening’s event which includes a great barbecue dinner, a most memorable Havdalah service on the waterfront, and a Campfire with a lot of surprises.  You will be so glad you did!  And tell your Tevya friends to register too!

Please check back here soon for more news about the Reunion – especially for those of you who have already registered.  We will be posting all sorts of information about the Reunion (parking instructions, what to bring and wear, bus schedules, and more) in the next week.

We can’t wait to see you and your family on June 20 and 21!!

We’re Off to a Great Start!

Already many Camp Tevya alumni of all generations have registered to come to the 75th Reunion, and the list of alumni registering for the Reunion is growing every day.  So far alumni are traveling back to the shores of Lake Potanipo from 18 states and the District of Columbia, and many are coming to the Reunion from as far away as California, Washington, Montana, Georgia, and Florida (for a complete list of states click here).  And we want you to be there too!!

Imagine how wonderful it will be to experience a microcosm of your summers at Camp Tevya during our 75th Reunion weekend. We have so many activities and events planned for you to enjoy, and spending time with your Tevya friends, bunkmates, counselors, and former campers will make it that much more special.  Do you remember that beautiful fresh scent of the New Hampshire air?  Do you long for an opportunity to boat across Lake Potanipo?  Can you imagine how beautiful it will be to get to experience Havdalah again as the sun is setting on the lake?  Can you hear your friends singing your favorite Camp Tevya songs in unison with you?  Would you like to hit another ball on the tennis courts or the Bogrim Field?  Do you remember that wonderful feeling you got every summer when you arrived at Tevya?  You can have all of these experiences and many more at the 75th Reunion!

If you are planning to come to the Reunion and have not registered yet, please do so today.  Your presence on our list of attendees will undoubtedly be the catalyst for one or more of your friends and bunkmates to register too.  Each day I talk to more and more alumni who tell me that they are definitely coming to the Reunion and just haven’t gotten around to officially signing up to come.  Let other alumni know that you are coming, and help inspire even more of your friends to be part of this historic event.  Show your Tevya pride – it’s easy and inexpensive to register to attend the Reunion for all or any part of it.

Please also help us get the word out to your Tevya friends and family.  Don’t assume that they know about the Reunion.  We are on track to have a record turnout for the Reunion, and we do not want you or your Tevya friends to miss it!

Don’t see your favorite Tevya friends or counselors on the list yet?  Call them, text them, e-mail them, or send them a message and let them know that you’re coming to the 75th Reunion.

Welcome to the Camp Tevya Reunion website!

The 75th Reunion Committee (comprised entirely of alumni of different generations) has been planning a spectacular two day event to celebrate Camp Tevya’s 75th anniversary, and alumni of every generation will be coming back to Tevya from all over the country on June 20 and 21, 2014 to reunite with their friends, bunkmates, counselors, and former campers.   You will not want to miss this Reunion!!

We have so much planned for the Reunion.  Friday evening’s event will be a traditional Friday night just like you remember it with a flag lowering ceremony, a service conducted by the alumni, a wonderful Shabbat meal, singing in the Dining Hall, and dancing under the stars.

Saturday’s event will be a full day and evening of exciting activities and programs that will give you an opportunity to reunite with your friends, explore every facet of the Camp, participate in numerous athletic and aquatic activities, and relive your wonderful days at Tevya!  The morning will begin with a service conducted by alumni of all generations followed by a Kiddush and lunch.  For the first time during a Tevya reunion, you will be able to enjoy the waterfront including swimming, boating, and canoeing.  You can play softball, basketball, tetherball, or tennis; Arts & Crafts will be open for you to create projects just like you did when you were a camper; you can attend the dedication of the Seth Feldman Fitness Center;  you can visit our Reunion memorabilia displays; and you can relax in your favorite spot at Camp.  There will also be activities specifically for young children run by the Camp staff during the afternoon.

The Saturday evening event will begin with a flag lowering ceremony followed by a terrific buffet dinner outdoors.  After dinner we will gather at the waterfront for a traditional Havdalah service and a campfire with many surprises that is sure to evoke many happy memories of your years at Tevya.  You can check out details of all of the events going on during the Reunion here.

No matter what parts of the Reunion you choose to enjoy, you will not want to miss this incredible opportunity to re-experience Camp Tevya with your old friends and with your family.  Check out all of the alumni who have already registered to come to the 75th Reunion here.
